World Class game viewing right from the stoep/veranda of this magnificent, new self catering Game River Lodge. Launched in July 2020 this lodge overlooks the ever changing Crocodile River. 

Crocodile Rock River Lodge has everything that you will need to enjoy the beauty of the Kruger National Park. The lodge sleeps 10 people maximum, including children, these are rules of the reserve. Two bedrooms within the main house whist the other 3 bedrooms are separate cottages.
We have our own new game drive vehicle for exclusive bookings.

The Space

NO LOAD SHEDDING: We have 3 x Victron 48V inverters, 30 kw of lithium batteries, 36 solar panels. All we ask from
guests to keep air cons on 22C. 

All rooms are fully fitted with wall mounted air-conditioning / heaters, fans, King size double beds, 2 bedrooms can be made singles, indoor & outdoor showers and en-suite facilities. Good WiFi is available throughout the property.

Step into the rim flow pool, shallow steps and rail for persons with step difficulty and peer out over the game that freely roam right up to the lodge’s fence line. Elephants often come and forage in the Marula trees that grace our boundary. Hippos are abundant in this stretch of river and their calls can be heard echoing up from the river. All of the Big Five (Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Lion & Rhino) have been seen from this perfectly situated Lodge. Bird life viewing is simply impressive. From African Spoonbills to Fish Eagles, from Goliath Herons to Woodland Kingfishers.

For persons with physical disabilities the whole of the main house is on one level. Just one step at entrance and one down if using the outside shower. The main house showers are also wheelchair accessible. And have grab handles by the shower. The pool has a s/s safety rail with low height steps also for ease of access.

Crocodile Rock is a self catering lodge. All supplies can be obtained on your way at either Malelane or Komatispoort Spar. We have gas and wood braais. One pack of wood per night free.

We have the premium bouquet of DSTV and Netflix on our TV in the lounge area.

In the main house kitchen we have a Smeg (electric) oven with Smeg gas hob, also a Bosch microwave. On the stoep / verandah there is a Jetmaster wood braai and a Chef slimline 5 burner gas braai plus Snomaster drinks fridge.

If coming with children we can fit up to 2 stretcher beds in 2 of the bedrooms if you wish your children to share with you. They come with mattresses and linen. Maximum of 10 persons allowed to stay in the reserve rules including young children or infants.

The possibilities for seeing game is in our own safari vehicle. The other is to book via Bush Camp which is 7 kms away. Self drive is only available at one of the Kruger gates, Malelane or Crocodile Bridge or if pre- booked and paid for, from Mjejane.

Guest access

You have access to the main house and 3 outside cottages, pool, boma and braai areas. The whole area is for your exclusive use.
